A: We install both hard-wired and wireless intruder alarm systems; we will recommend the system most suited to your property following your free Security Survey.

A: A monitored alarm is one that is connected to a dedicated 24 hour a day, 365 day a year monitoring station. If the alarm is activated, you, your key-holder or the police will be alerted. An alarm system that is not monitored is referred to as an ‘audible’ alarm, this type of alarm sounds a bell when activated.

A: There is a one off payment of £55 excluding VAT for police response for your Unique Reference Number (URN).

A: Yes, our systems can be set to monitor all or just part of your property; so you could have the downstairs set and the upstairs unset allowing you can move around upstairs without triggering the alarm. When you go away then you would fully set the alarm so it would monitor all of your property.

A: We can fit sensors specifically designed for homes with pets, this is something we would identify and discuss on the free Security Survey.

A: It takes around one day to fit an alarm system to a typical three bedroom home, but we will always tell you how long the install will take in your quotation. We work to the highest standards and with respect for your property, we go to great lengths to minimise any mess and will always clean up afterwards.

A: A twelve month guarantee is applicable to all works carried out by, and equipment supplied from Hamilton Security Systems Ltd.

A: All systems need inspecting annually (twice a year if police-monitored) and there is a service charge for monitored alarm systems. We will always clearly state any annual or on-going charges in your quotation.

A: Absolutely. We provide a first class service, tailored to our customers’ requirements. We have several decades of experience and have installed and maintained thousands of security systems for home owners and for all types of business. And we are SSAIB registered so can provide key-holding and monitoring services; and as part of our SSAIB registration we are required to work to specific standards and have our work inspected.
